Finally is time to fly!
After 3/4 weeks without travelling, I start missing airports and I start missing the vibes you get when you stop in this “place without seasons”. Yeah, I like to call it like that and you know why, you got it: the climate is always the same.
No matter what, where or when.It can be hot, rainy, windy, beautiful or terrible outside but you dont care, sometimes you dont even know because… first you’re in airport, second you’re in transit. If you lucky (or rich) you stop there just a bunch of hours and then you fly to your next destination. You dont care neither about weather nor about specific dresses.Sometimes you meet people and you share a story, sometimes you read a book, sleep on uncomfortable chairs (or on the floor), maybe work, get some food, drink few beers…. simply, you wait.
I love that feeling, my life just stop. pause. Now I’m back in Bali.

I sold this beauty few days ago and… I’m stoked to see it hanging on a friend’s wall! It’s one of my favorite artworks so far (and one of the last I’ve available) as it really represent my “way to do it”: collage of reminders, sketches, maps… leftovers from a trip to HongKong on a piece of cardboard founded in the streets:)
More art always at my website and…If anyone interested, it’s still available Shallow Thought

I’ve just got the news that the backpacks I’ve painted for Eastpack Artist Studio are sold out! Thanks goes to the buyers for supporting the cause. ( I do not make money out of that, all the proceeds goes to the charity program Designer Against Aids)

I’ve also received the book that features my profile&backpacks pictures together with the ones of all the artists. Some shoots at my website here

I just got a bunch of beautiful pictures published on march/april issue of Entry, an italian snowboard magazine. All of them are shooted in Ak by my friend, photographer Federico Bellini. This one in particular is one of my favorite ever mostly because it features a technique of making frontside turns in pow that I’m improving since few years. Roughly, the concept is to over rotate the shoulders and make pressure on the back leg while opening the back knee (you can see that mine sliding on the snow). The result is a very powerful spray and a strong twist of the board which makes you pop out of the snow while starting the next turn. Not sure if I explain it well but, yeah it’s super fun! Check out Entry 43 for the other shoots
